ARS Treatment Center in Charlottesville, VA is a CARF-accredited provider specializing in treating substance use disorders, including opiate treatment, methadone maintenance, and other substance abuse treatment. ARS provides group, individual, and family counseling, and medication-assisted treatment in an intensive outpatient program focused on recovery.

American Addiction Treatment Center in Newport News, VA, offers medication-assisted treatment, including methadone and buprenorphine (Suboxone) to effectively treat opiate use disorder. Our Outpatient Treatment Center for men and women will begin the treatment process with a clinical evaluation and create a personalized treatment plan. Through individual and group therapy, the goal of treatment is stabilization and eventual discontinued use of any medications. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Stages of Change, and Motivational Interviewing (MI), Relapse prevention, education classes, and 12-step programs are integrated into the program to support ongoing recovery. Catawba is an inpatient psychiatric facility with 110 beds that provides comprehensive mental health services including assessment, treatment, and discharge planning. Catawba serves adult patients 18 years and older, with specialized expertise in the treatment of geriatric patients. Catawba Hospital provides the highest standard of professional care. Individualized treatment is provided through interdisciplinary teams (including psychiatry, nursing, internal medicine, social work, psychology, substance abuse, psychosocial rehabilitation, pharmacy, and dietary). Programs in a newly designed treatment mall emphasize psychiatric rehabilitation, recovery from mental illness, and re-integration into the community. Catawba is a Joint Commission accredited facility, certified by the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS).
