The Virginia Medication Assistance Program (ADAP) provides medication for the treatment of HIV/AIDS to individuals without insurance coverage or third party benefits for ADAP medications. The individual must also meet financial eligibility requirements as established by the Department of Health.

The Free Clinic of Pulaski County serves those in the community who are otherwise not served by Medicaid or Medicare, do not have private health insurance and whose income does not exceed 130% of the current Federal poverty guideline. Clinics are held Tuesday and Wednesday afternoons by appointment, from 10AM to 3PM every other Friday and on Thursday evenings beginning at 5:30 PM. The clinic also assists patients in accessing the Medication Assistance Programs of the various pharmaceutical manufacturers. In the fiscal year ending June 30, 2007, 826 individuals were served and 6,447 prescriptions were filled.

Free HIV testing, transgender peer support for incarcerated trans men, trans women, and GNC/non-binary folx, food distribution (meals on wheels program), distribution of clothes, shoes, toiletries, & hygiene products, LGBTQIA peer support group, educational workshops, peer support for victims of violence, job board, work readiness program, transportation assistance, and more development programs. The Free Clinic of Franklin County provides medical care to the uninsured of Franklin County. Our patients have incomes at or below 175% of the federal poverty guidelines. These are hard-working people who cannot afford the insurance offered by their employers.

Central Virginia Health Services is a non-profit community health center with Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) status. They started in 1970 as a community-based and patient-directed organization focused on providing care to people with limited access to the health services they need. They are committed to and must uphold a high level of care, meeting administrative, clinical, and financial standards as part of responsibility as a FQHC. They offer comprehensive care: medical, dental, behavioral health, pharmacy, and at some sites, x-ray services. The majority of their governing board is made up of their patients – at least 51% of board members must be representative of the patients they serve.

Sexual Health/Test & Go Services include prevention education, testing, treatment, and counseling for STIs, HIV, and PrEP. Free female and male condoms are available. Test & Go is a free community activity that provides testing for any or all of the following tests: Gonorrhea (GC) Chlamydia HIV Syphilis Hepatitis B Hepatitis C

Planned Parenthood of Southeastern Virginia offers reproductive health and family planning services to the community. Additionally we provide comprehensive, medically accurate sex education to faith based groups and other community members.

Provides counseling for HIV prevention, testing for HIV and other STIs. Services include application for enrollment into the PrEP program, medications, counseling, and continual monitoring of HIV and STI risks. Case management is available to all enrolled clients.
