American Addiction Treatment Center in Newport News, VA, offers medication-assisted treatment, including methadone and buprenorphine (Suboxone) to effectively treat opiate use disorder. Our Outpatient Treatment Center for men and women will begin the treatment process with a clinical evaluation and create a personalized treatment plan. Through individual and group therapy, the goal of treatment is stabilization and eventual discontinued use of any medications. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Stages of Change, and Motivational Interviewing (MI), Relapse prevention, education classes, and 12-step programs are integrated into the program to support ongoing recovery.
