Childhelp exists to meet the physical, emotional, educational and spiritual needs of abused, neglected and at-risk children.

Established in 1994, Arlington Free Clinic (AFC) continues to be Arlington’s only provider of comprehensive healthcare services for adults living with a low income and without health insurance. While there are approximately 10,000 uninsured adults in Arlington County, AFC is the medical home for over 1,600 of these underserved members of our community. We empower clinicians, care teams, and patients to enhance hepatitis C (HCV) elimination in Virginia by breaking down barriers to access curative treatments through improved knowledge and resources. We offer HCV treatment through telemedicine for patients in Virginia. Patients identified as having positive HCV RNA should be treated. Curative treatment is available for hepatitis C with 8-12 weeks of Direct Acting Antiviral (DAA) oral medication with minimal, if any, side effects. Following treatment, a lab is needed in 12 weeks, checking the HCV PCR/RNA to determine cure.

LGBTQ affirming counseling for youth and adults, play and expressive therapies for children and teens. Spanish language service available. Provides referral letters for hormone therapy and/or surgery.

LGBT Life Center is a trusted leader that empowers the LGBTQ communities and all people affected by HIV through improving health and wellness, strengthening families and communities, and providing transformative education and advocacy. We offer free HIV & STI testing services, housing services, medical services, case management, social support programming for the LGBTQ+ community, youth programming, senior programming, PrEP and HIV prevention services, mental health and counseling, and intimate partner violence crisis intervention. Central Virginia Health Services is a non-profit community health center with Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) status. They started in 1970 as a community-based and patient-directed organization focused on providing care to people with limited access to the health services they need. They are committed to and must uphold a high level of care, meeting administrative, clinical, and financial standards as part of responsibility as a FQHC. They offer comprehensive care: medical, dental, behavioral health, pharmacy, and at some sites, x-ray services. The majority of their governing board is made up of their patients – at least 51% of board members must be representative of the patients they serve.

Ari Laoch (R-ee Lay-Awk), he/they is a Virginia Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and LPC-supervisor, a National Certified Counselor (NCC), and a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC). Ari received his Master of Science in Rehabilitation and Mental Health Counseling (2017) and his PhD in Health-Related Sciences: Rehabilitation Leadership (2025) from Virginia Commonwealth University. He is a proud member of the LGBTQIA+ community. AHF Healthcare Centers provide advanced medical care designed specifically for HIV-positive clients. AHF providers are knowledgeable of up-to-the-minute developments in HIV medical care. In addition, AHF Healthcare Centers are often part of the research teams testing new medications to fight HIV.

Peer-led support and social group for transmasculine people (assigned female at birth who no longer identify in that way). Accepts walk-ins. All meetings are conducted via Zoom and when possible, also in-person. Call or email for details on how to participate.
