We are proud to offer all aspects of primary medical care and mental health, substance abuse and case management services to HIV positive individuals along with a history of delivering compassionate HIV/AIDS clinical and education services. Our convenient services are available at locations around Northern Virginia. We provide compassionate, dignified care to individuals regardless of their sex, race, background, sexual orientation, religious preference, financial status or insurance coverage. OB/GYN services, hormone therapy, contraception management, STI testing and treatment, pre-conception counseling, laboratory and imaging services, gynecological surgeries including hysterectomy and oophorectomy. Medicare and most insurances accepted. Spanish language services available, and interpreting services are available for all other languages.

Psychotherapy and counseling for individuals and couples; letters for hormone replacement therapy and gender-affirming surgeries. Psychotherapy services for loved ones of LGBT community members are also offered. All services are virtual only.

They started in 1970 as a community-based and patient-directed organization focused on providing care to people with limited access to the health services they need. They are committed to and must uphold a high level of care, meeting administrative, clinical, and financial standards as part of responsibility as a FQHC. They offer comprehensive care: medical, dental, behavioral health, pharmacy, and at some sites, x-ray services. The majority of their governing board is made up of their patients – at least 51% of board members must be representative of the patients they serve.

Bon Secours has inpatient and outpatient programs for treatment of substance abuse and psychiatric medicine. The inpatient center is Maryview Behavioral Medicine Center, located on the campus of Maryview Medical Center in Portsmouth. Chemical Dependency Consultation and Intervention Services This service is designed to recognize and treat chemical dependency in medical/surgical patients and to reduce the complications associated with chemical dependency. Service is provided by selectively trained members of Maryview's chemical dependency service, and includes medical, nursing and counseling services.

Addiction Treatment at Virginia Hospital Center has always recognized addiction as a chronic, progressive and potentially fatal disease that can be arrested with appropriate professional care and patient education. By helping substance abusers understand and accept the fact that they have a disease, we can then help teach them the tools and techniques they need to manage their illness and take responsibility for their own health. From intensive inpatient care to outpatient programs, every aspect of the Addiction Treatment program reflects our emphasis on interdisciplinary treatment. By utilizing the skills, training and experience of a wide range of professionals, we bring all the expertise available to help patients free themselves of the constraints of dependence.
