Contributing to the healing process, the setting offers a new bicycle for each child, hiking trails, fields, fishing ponds and streams, a swimming pool, go-carts, gymnasium, an equestrian center for horseback riding and an animal care center.

Liberty Point Behavioral Healthcare, located in Staunton, Va., provides trauma-informed psychiatric residential treatment for young men. Our continuum of care is intended to meet the needs of adolescent males, ages 12 to 17, who are experiencing complex emotional, behavioral, and educational difficulties. Programs are specifically designed for youth with psychiatric disorders and co-occurring intellectual disabilities. We also specialize in working with young men who are diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder. Programs are offered at multiple levels of care to address the needs of each individual. Some youth may require a secure residential setting while others may benefit from a community-based residential treatment approach. Youth attend school and participate in vocational training at Liberty Point Academy located on the secure residential campus.
