Eligibility

?At least 18 years of age. ?Primary diagnosis of a thought disorder, mood disorder, or anxiety disorder. ?No primary diagnosis of personality disorder, eating disorder, developmental disorder, or significant intellectual impairment. ?No medical condition that requires home healthcare/hospice care. ?If substance abuse is identified as a treatment issue, the applicant must be willing to participate in community-based substance abuse services as recommended. ?Applicants with a recent history of suicide attempts, self-injury, and/or aggression will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis. ?Must have a desire for increased independence.

Fees

Applicants approved for admission to Gateway Homes' residential treatment program by the Clinical Team must also satisfy one of the following financial criteria. All other individuals will be admitted on a case-by-case basis. ?Determined to be disabled by the Social Security Administration and meet the Virginia Department of Medicaid's resource and income requirements. ?Referred from an agency which has entered into a service agreement with Gateway Homes. ?Have sufficient funds to pay the full fee for services at each level of the program.
