Piedmont Access to Health Services, Inc. ("PATHS") is a non-profit 501c3 organization whose mission is to provide healthcare to all citizens (in South Central Virginia) -- regardless of their ability to pay. The vision of PATHS is to provide access to quality primary and specialty care, prescription medication, case management and other ancillary services to the citizens of Southern Virginia and surrounding areas. It is the core value of PATHS that everyone has the right to quality health care. PATHS provides a medical home for everyone -- including the uninsured and underinsured as well as a point of entry into established human service agencies and health care system.

Inova Juniper Program is Northern Virginia's largest provider of HIV/AIDS care. We are proud to offer all aspects of primary medical care and mental health, substance abuse and case management services to HIV positive individuals along with a history of delivering compassionate HIV/AIDS clinical and education services. Our convenient services are available at locations around Northern Virginia. We provide compassionate, dignified care to individuals regardless of their sex, race, background, sexual orientation, religious preference, financial status or insurance coverage. CrossOver Healthcare Ministry is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that provides compassionate, high-quality healthcare to the uninsured and those enrolled in Medicaid in our community through the operation of two healthcare clinics, one in the City of Richmond and one in Henrico County. CrossOver offers comprehensive healthcare services to its patients, including primary care, specialty care, pediatrics, HIV/AIDS testing and care, women’s health and prenatal care, mental health, dental, eye and vision care; medications and medication management, and our Bridges to Health program. Free Clinic

The Free Clinic of Central Virginia serves low-income (200% of the federal poverty level or lower) persons without health insurance, Medicare or Medicaid for the service being requested and provided. Present figures indicate that over 70% of the patients are working at least one part-time job or more. At least one-third of the Free Clinic patients have been identified with chronic illnesses (i.e. asthma, diabetes, hypertension), which necessitate ongoing medical care and medications. Specialty medical services are available in 20 different areas. A Medication Accesss Program, which is called MedsHelp, provides prescription services to Free Clinic patients as well to patients referred by physicians in the Central Virginia community. A dental clinic for exams, dental hygiene services, restorations, and extractions treated 2,034 unduplicated patients in over 5,200 visits in 2011. Some dental specialty services have been added, but they are only provided to long term patients at this time.

The Free Medical Clinic of Northern Shenandoah Valley in Winchester, Virginia, serves low-income, uninsured working residents of Frederick County, Winchester City, and Clarke County. Almost 100% of patients served by the Free Medical Clinic of Northern Shenandoah Valley have incomes at or below 150% of the federal poverty level. Approximately two-thirds of the FMC of Northern Shenandoah Valley patients have one or more chronic illnesses which require ongoing medication therapies, etc. ? In 2011 the Clinic provided 9366 patient visits, treated 1048 patients, and screened 532 new patients for services.

Gloucester-Mathews Free Clinic (GMFC) provides free medical, dental and prescription services to lower-income, uninsured residents of Gloucester and Mathews counties. GMFC patients are pre-screened and earn less than 200% of the federal poverty level. With the exception of holidays and inclement weather, GMFC provides medical services.

We provide essential public health services to Alexandrians, and others who work and play here. We operate public health specialty clinics; help our communities to prepare for, respond to & recover from public health emergencies; assess food safety at restaurants & permitted facilities; investigate communicable diseases & offer guidance to prevent the spread of disease; and advances community wellness.

The Community Health Center of the New River Valley is a non-profit healthcare organization that serves uninsured individuals, as well as people who are insured with Medicaid, Medicare, and private insurance like Anthem. Our programs provide medical, GYN, dental, behavioral health and medication assistance services to people of all ages. If you currently have a medical home, we encourage you to see your doctor regularly, but if you are seeking a medical care provider or are having trouble finding a doctor who will work with your coverage, we might be a good choice for you. We offer competent, committed care with a goal of providing an affordable, long-term medical home to people of all ages. Our main office is located at 215 Roanoke Street in Christiansburg, near downtown. We are also pleased to operate Centers in Giles and Pulaski County.

Free Clinic

The Charlottesville Free Clinic provides free medical and dental care and free prescriptions for un-insured and under-insured adults in the greater Charlottesville community.

The Madison Free Clinic, Inc. is a non profit organization that enables the uninsured residents of Madison County, who meet the guidelines, to be provided with medical care and medications. The Clinic also provides limited dental and eye care. Volunteers provide almost all of our services.

The Lloyd F. Moss Free Clinic serves low-income, uninsured adults who reside in the City of Fredericksburg and the Counties of Caroline, King George, Spotsylvania, and Stafford. Approximately 90% of the clinic's patients have household incomes less than 125% of the federal poverty guidelines

Central Virginia Health Services is a non-profit community health center with Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) status. They started in 1970 as a community-based and patient-directed organization focused on providing care to people with limited access to the health services they need. They are committed to and must uphold a high level of care, meeting administrative, clinical, and financial standards as part of responsibility as a FQHC. They offer comprehensive care: medical, dental, behavioral health, pharmacy, and at some sites, x-ray services. The majority of their governing board is made up of their patients – at least 51% of board members must be representative of the patients they serve.

We embrace health and wellness as the foundation for quality of life, and we dedicate ourselves to providing the highest level of health care to all those who ordinarily lack access to it within our community.

Local Health Department

The Free Clinic of Pulaski County serves those in the community who are otherwise not served by Medicaid or Medicare, do not have private health insurance and whose income does not exceed 130% of the current Federal poverty guideline. Clinics are held Tuesday and Wednesday afternoons by appointment, from 10AM to 3PM every other Friday and on Thursday evenings beginning at 5:30 PM. The clinic also assists patients in accessing the Medication Assistance Programs of the various pharmaceutical manufacturers. In the fiscal year ending June 30, 2007, 826 individuals were served and 6,447 prescriptions were filled.
